Dried Coconut Flakes is obtained by drying ground or shredded coconut kernel after the removal of brown testa. It finds extensive use in confectioneries, puddings and many other food preparations as a substitute to raw grated coconut. It is available in the form of high or low fat. This product is packed in craft paper bags for export. It is rich in healthy saturated fats with no cholesterol and is also a good source of dietary fibre.
